Is there a native LinkedIn Pipedrive integration? No, and there isn't a paid one hiding somewhere either. Salesforce gets Sales Navigator built in and HubSpot has LinkedIn features of its own, but Pipedrive gets nothing from LinkedIn's side and isn't even on Sales Navigator's list of supported CRMs. The fix most teams land on is a Chrome extension that puts Pipedrive right on the LinkedIn page, so checking for a record, saving it and booking the next activity all happen while you're still looking at the profile. A few extensions do that. We'll use ours, Ln2CRM, for the examples, simply because it's the one we know inside out.
Why there is no native Pipedrive LinkedIn integration
Before you bolt anything on, it's worth knowing what's actually out there, because most of the options people reach for don't help with outbound at all.
- No first party extension. Pipedrive doesn't make a tool that reads a LinkedIn profile and saves it. LeadBooster sounds like it might, but it's built for inbound chat on your website, which is a different job entirely.
- Sales Navigator does not sync to Pipedrive. Its CRM Sync supports a short list of CRMs and Pipedrive isn't on it, so even at around $99 a month for a seat you still get no Pipedrive sync.
- Zapier and Make only cover forms. They're great at moving LinkedIn Lead Gen Form submissions from paid campaigns into Pipedrive. Where they can't help is the moment you're looking at someone's profile and want them in the CRM.
- Marketplace apps come from third parties. Anything in the Pipedrive Marketplace that touches LinkedIn is built by another company, and that's exactly the kind of tool this guide is about.
Leads Inbox or Deal: the Pipedrive choice
Here's a Pipedrive detail that catches people out. Next to the usual Persons and Organizations, a new opportunity can sit either in the Leads Inbox or in the Deal pipeline, and which one your LinkedIn saves go to matters more than it looks. We've seen teams send every profile straight to Deals in their first week and then wonder why the forecast looked so cheerful.
- Lead first, for outbound. This is the one we'd pick for cold outreach. The person waits in the Leads Inbox while you work out whether there's anything there, and your pipeline value and win rate don't move until there is. When budget and timing finally show up, you convert it to a Deal.
- Deal first. Here the Deal is created straight away with the Person and Organization linked to it. That suits inbound, referrals and warm intros, where the qualifying has already happened.
- People and Organizations only. No Lead and no Deal, just an existing Person or Organization picking up its LinkedIn URL and whatever fields were missing. Handy when you're mapping out an account.
You pick a default in Ln2CRM, and any single record can still go the other way right from the extension panel.
One custom field that keeps Pipedrive clean
Pipedrive spots duplicates by name and email. For outbound that's a weak combination, because most LinkedIn profiles you save don't have an email yet and names collide all the time (every company with 500 people has a John Smith). Working from a connections export rather than live profiles? Then how to export LinkedIn contacts walks through the file and the import rules. Either way, one custom field fixes most of this. In Pipedrive it lives under Settings, Data fields, and here's what we'd add:
- On Person: "LinkedIn Profile URL", a single line text field
- On Organization: "LinkedIn Company URL", also single line text
- And keep the built in Organization "Website" field filled in, since it makes a useful fallback for matching
Why bother? A LinkedIn URL belongs to exactly one profile and doesn't change when someone switches jobs, so it makes a dependable key. Once the field exists Ln2CRM checks it first, and whoever opens the profile sees "already in Pipedrive" before a create button ever shows up. It's a five minute job if you do it before saving your first profile, and it spares you from untangling twin records six months from now.
Why LinkedIn URL beats name matching
Name matching falls over on common names, on companies that rename themselves and on any duplicate inside a big org. Matching by domain gets people into the right company but can't tell two colleagues apart. The LinkedIn URL handles both, which is why we'd treat it as the main key for anything that starts on LinkedIn.
There's a cost side to matching that nobody warns you about, so here's ours. In September a customer on a trial scrolled through a long Sales Navigator list. Every row without a saved LinkedIn URL turned into a search call to Pipedrive, Pipedrive rate limited his API token, and for a couple of minutes his saves failed along with the badges. Our mistake, not his: the lookups had no pacing, and a save that landed during the limit just gave up. Now writes wait and retry the way Pipedrive's Retry-After header asks, and the lookups are spaced out. The lesson carries to any Pipedrive tool: the per token rate limit is shared by everything that talks to the account, so a list page that fires one search per row can take your saves down with it.
Saving LinkedIn company pages as Pipedrive organizations
It works the same way on a LinkedIn company page. Next to the company name there's a badge with a check or a cross, so before you touch anything you already know whether the Organization is in Pipedrive. Not there yet? One click creates it, and the name, website and profile details come over from the page's About section. What keeps this reliable is the LinkedIn Company URL field from the last section, because the page gets matched by its URL rather than by a name half a dozen companies might share.
This matters more in Pipedrive than you'd think. People change jobs and their Person records go stale, but the Organization is what holds on to the deals, the notes and the history. Save the company page once and every contact you add from that company later slots into something that already exists.
Follow ups are Pipedrive's whole philosophy
Pipedrive was built around activity based selling, the idea that you can't control outcomes, only the next thing you do. That's why booking the next step from LinkedIn suits Pipedrive better than pretty much any other CRM, and why Ln2CRM treats the Activity as part of saving rather than a separate chore.
While you're still on the profile you can schedule a Pipedrive Activity, a call, an email or a task, with a due date and an owner. Context from the LinkedIn conversation goes into a Note, and if you'd rather not type it, you can dictate it and let an optional AI cleanup tidy it up before it saves. Whatever you create ends up on the right Person, Organization or Deal without you having to go looking for it.
Since the Activity sits on Pipedrive's calendar, the CRM does the remembering instead of the sales person. We also like a three line note for handoffs, covering why we reached out, what they said, and what happens next and when.
Connecting Ln2CRM to Pipedrive
Ln2CRM connects to Pipedrive through its API using your personal API token. That connection is kept on the Ln2CRM backend rather than in the browser, so switching profiles doesn't break it and the LinkedIn page never gets anywhere near your credentials. After that, the extension opens in a panel on any profile or company page and goes through the same routine every time.
- Match first. Before it offers to create anything, Ln2CRM searches Pipedrive by LinkedIn URL, then by company domain, then by name, so you end up linking to the real record and not a duplicate.
- Create or update with trusted fields. You get a quick look at the fields that matter, owner, source, tags and pipeline, before saving. Whatever is already in Pipedrive stays as it is, and only the empty fields get filled.
- Log the next step. That's a Pipedrive Activity or a Note, booked from the same panel.
- Sync the conversation. The LinkedIn conversation can go into Pipedrive too. The first sync lands as one tidy note, later syncs add new notes as the chat goes on, and you can run it by hand or let it happen automatically.
- See the history. Recent activity, the deal stage and open tasks show up on the profile itself, so whoever writes next knows what's already been said.
Want the full feature list and install steps? They're on the Pipedrive Chrome extension page.
Setup takes about five minutes, and it usually goes like this:
- Ln2CRM comes from the Chrome Web Store, and once it's installed the icon sits in your browser toolbar.
- In the extension settings you connect Pipedrive by pasting your personal API token, which you'll find in Pipedrive under Settings, Personal preferences, API.
- Next come the LinkedIn URL fields from the section above, if you haven't added them already.
- Then you choose what a saved profile becomes by default, Lead first or Deal first.
- From now on any LinkedIn profile you open shows the matches, recent activity and the buttons for saving and booking activities.
How Ln2CRM compares to other LinkedIn Pipedrive tools
Several Chrome extensions handle LinkedIn to Pipedrive capture, and each one has its own angle. Here's how we'd honestly sum them up.
| Tool | Primary focus | Pipedrive history on LinkedIn | Free tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ln2CRM | Match first Pipedrive sync, email finder, activities | Yes | Yes |
| Surfe | Sync with several CRMs plus an email finder | Partial | Limited |
| LinkMatch | Quick save into the CRM | No | Trial only |
| Hublead | HubSpot first, Pipedrive second | Partial | Limited |
The "Pipedrive history on LinkedIn" column is the one most tools skip, and in our experience it's the one that changes how sales people behave. When nobody can see past activity on the profile, people end up asking questions the team already got answers to.
On a different CRM? We have matching guides for HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho CRM. Comparing extensions? Our Hublead comparison goes through it side by side. Still deciding about Sales Navigator itself? Then Sales Navigator alternatives for 2026 is the better read, and how a CRM extension changes LinkedIn prospecting covers the bigger picture.
Does Sales Navigator integrate with Pipedrive?
No, not on any tier. LinkedIn's CRM Sync and activity writeback only exist for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot, so even an Advanced Plus seat, sold by quote from about $1,600 a year, leaves Pipedrive out. If you came here looking for a Pipedrive Sales Navigator integration, the honest answer is that LinkedIn doesn't sell one at any price. Our Sales Navigator pricing guide has what each tier costs and why none of them adds Pipedrive.
An extension covers Sales Navigator anyway, whichever LinkedIn plan you're on. Ln2CRM's Sync to CRM button shows up in the Sales Navigator inbox and in the message panel on a lead page, so InMails and Sales Navigator messages reach the Pipedrive person or deal as notes, right alongside conversations from the regular inbox. How the sync works, what the first one brings over and where the notes end up is all in how to sync LinkedIn messages to your CRM.
Is a LinkedIn Pipedrive integration worth paying for?
Honestly, it depends on how many profiles your team gets through in a week. Two people adding five contacts a week don't need this. A ten person SDR team adding 200 or more a week really does, and the time it saves on cleaning up duplicates alone covers the cost several times over. There's a free tier for light use and paid plans for teams, all listed on the pricing page, and none of them needs a Sales Navigator licence.
Security and permissions
Ln2CRM connects to Pipedrive with a personal API token, and the actual CRM calls run on our server against Pipedrive's API, which keeps your credentials away from the browser and the LinkedIn page. Being careful, or just tidying up? The token can be revoked or regenerated whenever you like in Pipedrive under Settings → Personal preferences → API. We'd also describe Ln2CRM as a productivity tool rather than automation. Every action starts with a click from a sales person. It doesn't message anyone in the background or automate anything on LinkedIn, and it never scrapes profiles you haven't opened.
