The Pipedrive Chrome extension for LinkedIn prospecting
Open any LinkedIn profile and see whether the person is already in Pipedrive, with their notes, activities, and deal history. New prospect? One click creates the Person, with the Organization and custom fields filled in. No tab switching, no copy-paste, no Sales Navigator seat.
Why Pipedrive reps need this on LinkedIn
Pipedrive is built around the pipeline, but the pipeline starts on LinkedIn, and that is exactly where Pipedrive has no reach. There is no native LinkedIn integration, and Sales Navigator does not sync to Pipedrive either, so most reps copy a name, tab over to Pipedrive, search, and paste. Ten times a day that adds up, and half the time a duplicate Person slips in.
Ln2CRM closes that gap. It reads the profile you are already looking at, tells you whether the Person and their Organization are in Pipedrive, and lets you create or update them, open a Deal, or schedule an Activity without leaving the tab. The pipeline fills itself while you prospect.
How the setup works
Install the extension
Add Ln2CRM from the Chrome Web Store. The extension opens as a sidebar on LinkedIn profile and company pages.
Connect Pipedrive
Connect through Pipedrive’s OAuth, or paste a personal API token from your Pipedrive settings. There is no connected-app approval and no admin sign-off, so a single rep can set it up in a minute.
Pick where the LinkedIn URL lives
Ln2CRM stores the profile URL in a Pipedrive field you pick from a dropdown. Any existing field works, no new custom objects needed, and it becomes your dedupe key.
Choose how new people land
New people are created as a Pipedrive Person, and you can attach an Organization and open a Deal in the same click. Pipedrive has no Lead-versus-Contact split, so there is nothing extra to configure.
Keep or hide the on-page badges
The green check and red cross on profiles are on by default. Leave them on for fast triage, or switch them off in Settings if you prefer a clean page.
Optional: plug in enrichment
Have a FullEnrich key? Add it in Settings and the sparkle icon fills missing emails and phones. You pay your provider directly, Ln2CRM adds no markup.
Prospect
Open any LinkedIn profile. The extension shows the Pipedrive match with notes and tasks, or offers to create the record in one click.
Manage without leaving LinkedIn
From then on, search, link, update, and log your Pipedrive records straight from the sidebar. Your CRM lives inside LinkedIn, no tab switching.
Add a person to Pipedrive in one click
Open a LinkedIn profile and hit + Person. Ln2CRM reads the page and builds a prefilled card, so you confirm the Person instead of typing it. Add a note, save, and it lands in Pipedrive with the Organization linked and the LinkedIn URL attached.
Name, job title, location, and the LinkedIn URL are pulled in automatically. Nothing to copy-paste.
New people land as a Pipedrive Person, and the Organization is created or linked in the same click. Open a Deal on the spot if the conversation is real.
Type the organization name or paste its Pipedrive ID, and the person attaches to that existing Organization instead of a duplicate.
Add them by hand, or click the sparkle to pull them in with your own enrichment key.
Manage the record without opening Pipedrive
The Manage tab turns the LinkedIn page into a working Pipedrive view. Search any Person, Organization, or Deal, link the profile to the record, and see the activities and notes your team already logged before you write a word.
Search by name or ID and link the profile to the matching Person once, so it stays recognized.
Open activitys, past touches, and the full note timeline sit next to the profile, so you never double-message or forget a promise.
Add a note, schedule the next activity, or change fields right from the panel. Twenty seconds, and the record stays current.
Spot who is already in Pipedrive while you scroll
You do not even need to open the panel. Ln2CRM marks profiles and company pages right where you scroll, so you can triage a whole list of search results and see who is already a Pipedrive Person in seconds.
The person is already in Pipedrive. Click the badge to open their record and history.
Nobody on your team has captured them yet, so you see at a glance who is worth adding.
Built around your Pipedrive pipeline
Because Pipedrive lives and dies by the deal pipeline, the extension does more than store a contact. From a LinkedIn profile you can push the Person straight into the right pipeline and keep the deal moving.
Create the Deal, set its pipeline and stage, and attach it to the Person and Organization, all from the sidebar.
Add a call, meeting, or task with a due date so Pipedrive activity reminders keep the deal on track.
Link the Person to an existing Organization by name or ID instead of spawning a duplicate company.
What lands where in Pipedrive
Here is exactly how the LinkedIn data maps to Pipedrive objects and fields. You confirm the mapping once during setup, and the LinkedIn URL becomes your dedupe key.
| From the LinkedIn page | Pipedrive object | Field |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Person | Name |
| Current role | Person | Job title (custom field) |
| Company | Organization | Name |
| Location | Person | A field you pick |
| Profile URL | Person | Any field you pick from a dropdown, used for duplicate matching |
| Company page URL | Organization | Any field you pick from a dropdown |
| Email and phone | Person | Email, Phone (manual or via your own enrichment key) |
| Your notes | Person, Organization, or Deal | Note attached to the record |
| Follow-up | Activity | Subject, due date, linked to the record |
Supported objects: Person, Organization, Deal, Activity, Lead, and Note. Works on every paid Pipedrive plan through the API.
How the Pipedrive connection works
Ln2CRM connects to your Pipedrive over standard OAuth or a personal API token, acts only as the connecting user, and never stores your Pipedrive data. Here is what that means for security.
Connect through Pipedrive’s OAuth consent screen, or paste a personal API token from Settings. Either way Ln2CRM never sees your password, and you can revoke access from Pipedrive at any time.
Reads and writes Person, Organization, Deal, Activity, and Note, only as the connecting user and within that user’s own Pipedrive permissions.
Nothing runs in the background. The extension reads a profile only when you open it, and writes only when you click Save. No mass export, no scraping of pages nobody opened.
Records are created and updated directly in your account. Ln2CRM does not sell a contact database and does not copy your CRM into a separate store.
Unlike some CRMs, Pipedrive does not require an admin to allowlist a connected app. Any user with API access can connect with OAuth or an API token and start in a minute. If your company uses SSO, the OAuth sign-in respects it.
