If you upgraded to LinkedIn Sales Navigator Advanced specifically because HubSpot's documentation said it was required for the LinkedIn ↔ HubSpot integration, 2025 changed the math on you. The native bridge moved up a tier, the cost-per-seat went up, and the workflow you actually wanted, sync a LinkedIn profile into a HubSpot contact in one click, hasn't gotten any easier.
This page exists for the people who already had that bundle and now want a cleaner exit. Ln2CRM is a Chrome sidebar that talks to HubSpot's standard API and works on a regular LinkedIn account. No Sales Navigator seat required.
What changed in 2025
Through 2024, HubSpot's "LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration" was available on most paid HubSpot tiers and worked with Sales Navigator Core or Advanced. That's the version most existing customers remember.
In 2025, two things tightened simultaneously:
- The integration tier moved up. The deeper LinkedIn-side integration (CRM Sync, contact-level activity sync, and writeback features) is now scoped to Sales Navigator Advanced Plus seats. Existing Advanced customers who had been getting the integration as a bonus saw it phase out.
- HubSpot tier requirements shifted for several of the workflow features that read or write LinkedIn data through the integration. Some pieces require Sales Hub Pro or Enterprise depending on the action.
The practical outcome for a single SDR: if you were running HubSpot Sales Hub Pro + Sales Navigator Advanced (~$1,200 + $1,788/year = $2,988), and you actually needed the LinkedIn ↔ HubSpot sync layer, you ended up needing Advanced Plus, which moves the seat cost into the $1,600–$1,800/year range or higher. Combined annual cost of the "native" path now lands above $2,400/user.
For teams of five SDRs, that's $12,000+ a year just to get LinkedIn profiles into HubSpot cleanly. Most teams don't actually need 80% of what's in those bundled tiers. They need one workflow.
What the workflow actually looks like in Ln2CRM
Open a LinkedIn profile (regular LinkedIn — no Sales Navigator). The Ln2CRM sidebar shows you, in one panel:
- Whether this person already exists in HubSpot (matched by LinkedIn URL or company domain), and which Contact, Company, and Deals they're linked to
- The last 5 activities on the record: notes, meetings, emails (from HubSpot's email log), tasks, and stage changes
- A one-click create flow if they're not in HubSpot yet, that writes the LinkedIn URL into a custom property and respects your HubSpot dedup rules
- "Add note" / "Add task" / "Add deal" buttons that write to HubSpot through the standard CRM API
- An AI Copilot panel (Pro plan) that drafts LinkedIn messages grounded in HubSpot history, not generic templates
What it does not do: it doesn't auto-message, doesn't run sequences, doesn't scrape data, doesn't hit LinkedIn in the background while you're not on the page. Manual workflow tool. That's deliberate, and that's why it's the lowest-LinkedIn-risk option in the category.

What you keep, what you drop
Switching from "Sales Navigator Advanced + HubSpot" to "regular LinkedIn + HubSpot + Ln2CRM" is a real downgrade in two places — be honest about them:
- Advanced LinkedIn search filters. Sales Navigator's filter set (function, seniority, recent posters, account-level filters) is genuinely useful if you do a lot of new-list discovery. If that's most of your day, keep Sales Navigator Core (~$99/user/mo) standalone — it's still 40–50% cheaper than Advanced Plus, and Ln2CRM works on top of either.
- InMail allowance. Sales Navigator includes 50 InMail credits/month. Regular LinkedIn does not. If InMail to non-connections is core to your motion, keep a Sales Nav seat.
Things you don't lose:
- The actual capture-from-LinkedIn-into-HubSpot workflow (this is what Ln2CRM does)
- Any HubSpot data, properties, custom fields, Deals, or workflows
- The ability to log emails, calls, and meetings into HubSpot from where you already work
- Your existing HubSpot tier — Ln2CRM works with HubSpot Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise
Migration in practice
The switch takes about 20 minutes per user. The steps:
- Install the Ln2CRM Chrome extension (1 minute).
- Connect HubSpot via OAuth in the sidebar (3 minutes — uses HubSpot's standard OAuth, no admin setup).
- Map any custom properties you use for LinkedIn (URL, source, persona) — Ln2CRM auto-suggests defaults (5 minutes).
- Run a dedup pass against your existing HubSpot Contacts on LinkedIn URL (built-in, ~5 minutes).
- Cancel Sales Navigator Advanced/Advanced Plus at the end of your billing period. Optionally drop down to Sales Nav Core if you still need filtered search.
You don't need to migrate any HubSpot data. You don't change CRMs. The integration layer just changes shape.
