Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Ln2CRM browser extension, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Ln2CRM ("we", "us", "our"). By installing the extension, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Ln2CRM is a browser extension and supporting backend service that helps sales and marketing professionals transfer contact and company information from LinkedIn profile pages into their CRM systems (including Pipedrive, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, and Salesforce). The Service also provides supplementary features including duplicate detection, CRM record management, deal creation, notes and task viewing, and an AI-powered messaging assistant ("AI Copilot").
The Service acts as a workflow tool operating on data you choose to transfer. It does not independently access, collect, or store LinkedIn data beyond what is required to execute your explicit in-session actions.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at team@ln2crm.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account. Additional seats within an organization are subject to your subscription plan.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service in violation of LinkedIn's User Agreement, any applicable CRM platform's terms of service, or any applicable laws or regulations, including data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Use the Service to systematically extract, scrape, or aggregate data from LinkedIn beyond what is reasonably necessary for individual, manual CRM record creation.
- Use the Service to process personal data of individuals without a lawful basis under applicable data protection law. You, as the data controller for contacts you add to your CRM, are solely responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for processing that data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or discriminate against any person.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties without our prior written consent.
- Use automated bots, scripts, or macros to interact with the extension or the Service in a way that exceeds normal human-operated usage patterns.
- Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
4. Third-Party Platforms and Your Responsibilities
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including LinkedIn, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Google, and Microsoft. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms. Use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
You are solely responsible for:
- Complying with the terms of service of LinkedIn and all CRM platforms you connect to Ln2CRM.
- Ensuring you have a valid license and/or API access rights for your connected CRM.
- The accuracy and lawfulness of any data you transfer to your CRM via the Service.
- Having a lawful basis for storing personal data in your CRM under applicable privacy laws.
- Any actions taken in your CRM as a result of using Ln2CRM (e.g., creating, updating, or deleting records).
We are not responsible for any changes made by third-party platforms (including LinkedIn) to their website structure, API, or policies that may affect the functionality of the Service.
5. AI Copilot Feature
Ln2CRM includes an AI Copilot feature that uses third-party AI models (currently OpenAI) to generate draft messages, follow-ups, or comments based on CRM context you provide. By using this feature:
- You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate and must be reviewed before use.
- You are solely responsible for any content you send or publish using AI-generated drafts.
- CRM context data submitted to the AI Copilot may be processed by our AI provider (OpenAI). Do not submit sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for the task.
- We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
6. Subscription Plans and Billing
Ln2CRM offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (currently Paddle). By subscribing to a paid plan:
- You authorize us (via Paddle) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable subscription rate.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
- Free plan usage is subject to monthly request limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
- If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your access to paid features until payment is resolved.
6b. Refund Policy
Monthly plans
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly plan, your access continues until the end of the current billing period and will not renew. No partial or pro-rated refunds are issued for unused time within the billing period.
Annual plans
If you purchased an annual plan and are not satisfied, you may request a pro-rated refund for the remaining full months of your subscription within 30 days of the original payment date. After 30 days, annual plan payments are non-refundable; you may cancel to prevent automatic renewal, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
Exceptions
Refunds will be issued regardless of plan type or timing in the following cases:
- Billing error: duplicate charge, charge after confirmed cancellation, or incorrect amount.
- Service outage: Ln2CRM was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to an issue on our side (excluding third-party platform outages such as LinkedIn, your CRM provider, or payment processor).
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email admin@ln2crm.com within 14 days of the charge in question. Please include your account email, the charge date, and a brief description of the reason. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
7. Usage Limits and Fair Use
All plans are subject to usage limits (e.g., number of CRM record creates, AI Copilot requests) as described on our pricing page. These limits exist to ensure service quality for all users. We reserve the right to enforce limits, throttle usage, or suspend accounts that significantly exceed fair use expectations, with or without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Ln2CRM and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. You retain all rights to data you own that you process through the Service.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be available at all times or without interruption.
- Data extracted from LinkedIn or other pages will be accurate, complete, or current.
- CRM sync operations will complete successfully in all cases.
- The Service will remain compatible with LinkedIn's website as LinkedIn may change its interface or policies at any time.
- AI Copilot outputs will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any specific purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LN2CRM, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ln2CRM and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including LinkedIn's or your CRM provider's terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law, including data protection laws.
- Any data you process through the Service, including personal data of third parties.
- Any content you create or actions you take using AI Copilot outputs.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at team@ln2crm.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 15).
14. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., via email or in-product notification). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at team@ln2crm.com. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, disputes may be referred to binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ln2CRM regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
- No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Ln2CRM.
