The assistant works with what is already in your HubSpot and what you type or paste. It does not read the pages you browse, and it does not look up emails from outside sources.

FAQ

Does it work with the free HubSpot CRM?
Yes. It uses HubSpot's standard CRM features, so the free CRM and every paid tier work the same way.
What does the assistant read in my browser?
Only the link in the address bar on a profile page, to look for the matching HubSpot contact, and it sends that link as a keyed hash. It does not read page content, posts or messages.
How do I save a LinkedIn or WhatsApp chat to HubSpot?
Select the messages, copy them and paste them into Sync messages on the linked record. They are saved as one note per chat with each sender and time. Paste again later and only the new messages are added, nothing is duplicated.
Does the AI send messages for me?
No. It drafts a follow up from the record's notes and emails and what you type. You copy the draft and send it yourself.
Does it find email addresses?
No. It shows the emails already in HubSpot and checks whether they are deliverable. A second address can be kept in a HubSpot field you pick.
How do I connect HubSpot?
Open the assistant, choose Connect HubSpot and approve access on HubSpot's own sign in page. If your portal only lets admins install apps, an admin approves it once.
